Sara & Kevin | A chic City of London Wedding, Stationers Hall

When you’ve got a girl like Sara, why wait months and months for your actual wedding day in London all the way in June 2011? Heck you need to marry her right away! On a helicopter! Over New York city!! Well that’s the way Kevin likes to do things anyway. Why wait I say? They met at a nightclub when Kevin was out with his boys – the beautiful Sara appeared like a vision through the neon lights and billowing mist of the smoke machines and kapow…kevin was smitten. Quite soon into their romance, there was news from the city that Kevin was up for a transfer to New York. So Sara dropped everything and agreed to move with him. They’ve been living in Manhattan for around a year and unsurprisingly both love the buzzing metropolis.

After their whirlwind actual wedding in NY, they continued celebrations with their parents, friends and family back in London. I met the bride, her bridesmaids and mum at the very stylish Andaz hotel for the bridal preps, which is a stones throw away from Liverpool Street station. Sara and the rest of the bridal party arrived in a white ribbon-clad London black cab at the Stationers Hall where a wedding ceremony, outdoor pimms and hors d’ouevres reception was followed by dinner in the grand mahogany-paneled dining hall. Sara co-ordinated the entire wedding planning from the USA, not an easy feat. She even flew her wedding dress over with it’s voluminous skirt, train and all! The couple wanted their creative couple shots to evoke London and you can’t get any more ‘London’ than the stunning backdrop of St Pauls Cathedral.

Thank you both for allowing me to capture your gorgeous day and hey…if you ever need some ‘New York’ style shots done, I’m your girl…and I’m fine with helicopters too :) !! Congratulations Sara and Kevin.
